“Through the combination of colors and symbols I create paintings that express the messages of love, hope, joy and peace which helps to administer healing for the soul”. 

Bolanle Awosika is an acrylic painter who lives and works in Milwaukee, WI USA. From an early age Bolanle realized she had a natural artistic gift. To sharped her skills she attended Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts where she majored in visual arts. In her last year she was awarded the Georgia O' Keefe award for artistic potential. In high school Bolanle continued taking art courses. By the time she completed high school she knew that acrylic painting was her area of expertise.  Bolanle's work has been showcased in several galleries, exhibitions, and publications: including Imani & Metcalfe Park Gallery 2020,  Black Box Fund “Get out and vote project, ”MARN “A Year in Translation" 2020, Observica Special Edition 2021, MARN “Catch 2022", 2022 and Exibizone “Anti – War” 2022. In addition Bolanle has created multiple private commission paintings. In a desire to advance her professional skills Bolanle received a certificate in Art Gallery Ownership from IAP college.
